Quit Q&A

Need help?

What causes gassiness?

Common withdrawal symptoms of quitting smoking include indigestion, gas, constipation and stomach pain from slowed digestive activity. Drinking lots of water, eating more fiber (fruits, veggies, whole grains, etc), exercise and over-the-counter medicines usually help. If the symptoms continue without relief, call your doctor.
