When you quit, you may find that everything feels a little off-kilter. That’s because your mind and body are trying to adjust to life without nicotine, and that won't happen overnight. Try not to take on more than you can handle, because quitting itself can take up a lot of mental energy. If you’re able to, take little breaks for yourself throughout the day. These don’t have to be long – a simple stretch or a few deep breaths can do it! Eat healthy foods and try to get some exercise each day, because it’s great for your mood.
